VSLA Training

Through VSLAs, we have   transformed Refugees and host communities. The programm focuses in mobilising local savings, which provide members with a means to cope with emergencies, help to manage household cash-flow, build a capital base and, crucially, re-build social networks, solidarity and trust.

Training refugees in Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSAL) through Kisasacraft CBO is a strategic initiative aimed at fostering financial inclusion and independence. In the face of limited access to traditional banking systems, VSAL empowers refugees to pool resources, create savings, and provide each other with accessible micro-loans. This not only addresses immediate financial needs but also cultivates a sense of community and shared responsibility. The training goes beyond economic empowerment; it instills financial literacy, resilience, and a pathway for refugees to build a sustainable future. We equip refugees with the tools they need to break the cycle of poverty and create lasting positive change within their communities. Join us in building a foundation for financial self-reliance and empowerment through VSAL.
